Panino Italiano
You will need:
• 8 slices dense Italian bread
• 1/4 cup prepared tomato pesto
• 4 slices mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 lb. (about 16 slices) Patrick Cudahy Salami
• 4 slices provolone cheese
• Baby spinach leaves
• 1/2 lb. (about 16 slices) Patrick Cudahy Deli Pepperoni
• 4 thin slices red onion, separated
• Olive oil
Directions:
Preheat panini sandwich maker or other type of kitchen grill. Spread tomato pesto evenly on one side of each bread slice. Divide, arrange and assemble remaining ingredients to make 4 sandwiches. Brush the outside of each sandwich lightly with olive oil. Place in panini sandwich maker and toast until golden brown and cheese begins to melt. Serve immediately.
